Advanced Hair Studio Website
Right from the start the site is designed to make you have a browse and really believe they
can help. With an impressive array of flags to indicate how many countries they work in right down to the
picture of Shayne Warne smack in the middle.
A celebrity endorsement means a lot to the guy on the street looking for a solution to his hair loss.
After all when you look at Shayne you can't help but notice how good his hair looks. Thick and
healthy.
The page has a number of celebrities on it along with a list of treatments they provide. Have a look
around and see what you think.
Normally you'd love to have a good browse before you even think of contacting them. Right?
Well, what happens when you click on "Men's Therapies." An
extra window pops up prompting you to fill in your details to gain access to various therapy options. They're
even so careful as to say they'll send out a brochure in a "plain envelope." A clever idea since no one wants
a massive envelope with any reference to hair loss arriving at their door. Everyone would know then wouldn't
they?
Why do you have to leave your details just to get information on the various
therapies?
The idea is simple. Most wouldn't mind leaving a few details especially if it doesn't cost them anything
to gather some information and also get a free brochure posted out discreetly to the door. What is there
to lose? Well...nothing. But notice that you have to fill in the fields with an asterix beside them
which is pretty much them all bar the country you're from.
Getting a brochure is only one part of it. When you fill your details in, they are sent to a database
which then separates them out based on where you're from. That lead is then sent via email to your closest
Advanced Hair Studio where they print them off and file them away.
Now they have the one thing they really need. Your telephone number. You'll
get
a phone call out of the blue. If you don't answer they'll call back. Even if you do answer and
tell them that you were just getting access to the treatments or that you were just enquiring, they will try to
keep you on the phone to see how bad the hair loss is and will do all they can to get you to make an
appointment for consultation. If you tell them you have no time to talk they'll thank you and apologise
for disturbing you. It's their job after all. You made the enquiry and they're just following up on
it.
Don't even try to ask them how much a certain treatment is. They won't give that answer (partly because
you can't decide what kind of treatment someone needs over the phone) because they would rather you come into the
clinic so they can talk to you face to face. The leads they print off have spaces at the bottom where
they can record when they phoned you last and what you discussed. It means when they come to call you next it
can be less formal and more friendly. First name bases and another attempt to get you to call in for
consultation.
What's involved in a consultation? See next page for
details.
