LASER THERAPY WITH ADVANCED HAIR STUDIO
I normally don't like bad mouthing any clinic but when I think of people out there desperate to
find a cure to their hair loss it really annoys me when they're taken advantage of. If a patient came into hospital
with a gunshot wound to the chest would you charge him any more than someone with a broken ankle just because it
was more serious? Of course not! You'd be mad too never mind sadistic. But believe it or not, when it comes to some
hair loss clinics that's exactly how they operate.
Advanced Hair Studio provide some of the best hair loss treatments on the market and they have built themselves
up to perhaps the world leaders in hair loss therapy. They'd be the equivalent of Amazon.com in the retail world.
For the majority of people when you think of hair loss and go searching, Advanced Hair Studio is what you'll
stumble upon. There are others, of course there are, but how many of them have celebrities advertising for them?
Very few I'd say.
So let's get down to it. Let's say you go in for a consultation and for whatever reason...you sign up to laser
therapy. You'll no doubt be offered a six month course where you turn up at the clinic every week for six months
and sit in a chair while the consultant positions the lasers over your head and switches it on. Six months down the
line you have a full head of hair and presto...you're sorted. Right?
Wrong. Laser won't work for everybody and even if it does work for you, don't think that you can walk out after
six months and never have to work about it again. Laser is similar to propecia in that if you stop, you'll
eventually start to lose you hair again. Think of it as an engine. To get the engine really going you have to apply
pressure to the accelerator and to keep the engine going you have to keep your foot on the peddle. What happens if
you take your foot off the peddle? You've got it. The engine returns to normal, tick-over if you like. The same
happens to your head if you stop using laser. It just takes longer to get back to normal but it will and eventually
you'll start losing your hair again.
So, let's say you're sitting in one of Advanced Hair Studio's clinics under the laser
machine and you've been doing it for four months. Something like this might happen. A consultant will come and
start up general conversation where he/she will ask what you think of the laser therapy and if you've seen much of
a difference. You might say yes and you might say no. Either way they'll offer you a difference machine with a much
stronger laser. You may think about it but end the end you're not sure. Here's the spinner...you've paid for
example £3000 for six months of laser. They'll tell you that you can upgrade to the stronger laser for about £1500
and with that you can finish the last 2 months on it plus you'll get an additional 3 months for that price. Sounds
like a bargain. Six months on a stronger laser for £1500. If you do that means you paid £3000 for 4 months. Those
prices are only a guide.
Here's my problem. If a clinic was serious about its treatments and really had the client's best interest
at heart then why intentionally put the client on a weaker laser knowing that you're going to try and
sell them the stronger laser. Money is the reason. You can't get the extra £1500 if you start the client on the
stronger laser.
I'll leave you to make up your own mind but I'd never take the first price you're offered. It isn't the same
with all clinics. Just a select few.
