NIZORAL SHAMPOOThis hair loss shampoo is a sold as an anti-fungal shampoo but oddly enough Nizoral attacks DHT - it wasn't created to do this but it does. The active ingredient in Nizoral (ketaconazole) has a 'diluting' effect on DHT. Clinical studies have shown that Nizoral may actually slow down the early stages of hairloss. If you so some research you'll find a lot of references for Nizoral being an anti-fungus shampoo but like I have said in other parts of this site, sometimes the best medicines are found by accident.
There are pages upon pages on the web describing ketoconazole. You're free to look them up but it will bore you with details that most won't understand. I don't know anybody who insists on looking up exactly how pain killers do their job just as long as they do it.
